The Australian Masters Cup is about to commence for 2026! This is open to all PACT members over the age of 50, or turning 50 this year. Last year's competition was hotly contested, with our top 50+, 60+ and 70+ men and women playing in the National finals event on the Gold Coast. This is your chance to represent the ACT, up against the best seniors players in Australia.

The League is starting earlier than we origially forecast, with the first night of competition starting on Friday the 27th of February. This year the competition will be run after hours, allowing our senior members who still work during the day to compete. The League will run for 12 weeks, but will take a break for Easter, and the week Futsal hire our courts. So there will be 10 night sessions spread of Friday and Monday nights. 

The League will be run using Pickleball Leagues software, and has been setup the same across Australia for all 57 clubs that have entered the AMC. You will need to first register for the League, and then each week you will need to Opt In for the game day you wish to play in. At Opt In time the system will charge you $15 for that session. To be eligible for the AMC competition, you must play in 70% of the weekly events. So you will need to play in 7 out of the 10 sessions.

This year the competition will be soley based on your DUPR ranking, and players will move up and down the League ladder based on their DUPR. If you don't have a DUPR, you will need to go to DUPR.com and create an account. You will also need to link your DUPR account in Pickleball.com.

If you are unfamiliar with Pickleball Leagues, it is the same company that we use to run Pickleball Tournaments. However when you log in you select Leagues, and search for AMC Pickleball ACT 2026. Here is a quick link to our League.

AMC Pickleball ACT 2026

There will be a maximum of 55 spots available each week. This will allow for a group of 5 players on each of our 11 courts. So we suggest that you get in early each week. Opt In will be open 7 days before the next Friday night session. We have set the Opt In time at 9.30pm, so players who are playing in the current Friday night session will have time to get home and then Opt In to the following week's session. 

We understand some members will be unfamiliar with how the Pickleball Leagues software operates. I am available to answer any questions about the Australian Masters Cup.
